Positive.  I've come to discover, or should I say realize, that I am definitely a casual gamer. I loved Mario Galaxy when I first had a Wii and I have always loved the Mario Kart series.  Plus all the virtual console games, and NO I won't be buying hardly any cause you can use the Homebrew channel and play them, not to mention playing them on emulators almost flawlessly now.  I love the Guitar Hero and Rock Band games, but if I hang onto my 360, I'll end up sinking more money into DLC songs than anything.  In case anyone was wondering all those Arcade games have come from the past 2 years of having other 360s(and for the record, none have ever RRoDed or crapped out on me, I just got bored and traded them in/sold them), etc.  Just with the re-licensing ability now, I was able to marry all of my previously purchased games to this 360.

Yeah, over the long haul, I think I'd much rather have/be better off with a Wii :)

STOP!

I did the same thing and you will regret it. Why not keep both? But if you still want a wii i would get Zelda Twilight Princess, Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, SSB Brawl, and Mario Kart Wii.

I agree with the entire list of games except Metroid(not really an uber fan of the series).  I would also get House of the Dead and Samba Di Amigo(told ya I was a casual gamer :)  )

Until Nintendo stops completely selling out of them, I don't think it's going to get a price drop.  Maybe after the holidays in mid January to mid February (if it happens, I called it :D).

lol, a fair price would be around the price of two gamecubes :P since thats nearly exactly what the hardware is.

That's two GameCubes on clearance, it would be $200 with normal priced GameCubes.

I don't wanna risk fucking up my system, plus I've heard that modding Wii's are more dangerous than your average system....

Well I'm getting a Wii w/all the retail stuff, and Super Smash Brothers: Brawl, Carnival Games and NCAA Football 09(which will become goozex fodder). Also has VC games of Tecmo Bowl, Mario World and Mario Kart 64.  So I'm happy.  If the local pawnshop I was at the other day still has it, they had a like-new copy of Mario Kart Wii for $20, so hopefully I can go pick that up later this week...

nah its a piece of piss to mod a wii undo a few screws clip chip on screw back and done just make sure you use updates for your region and your pretty safe.
i would say hacking a PSP is more dangerous and on a danger scale i would put an unswitched DC region mod near the top infact soldering a single wire to my Saturn chip was more risky. I could go on all day even flashing an Xbox has more region for error. ok ill stop here its a little harder than installing an R4 in a DS. No no i have one more there's probably more chance in going blind through masterbation than fucking your Wii with a wii-clip mod ;D
but either way i respect your decision for whatever reasons

Btw used gamecubes are worth about £10 here infact i bought 2 just for the controllers when i couldnt get hold of some so if anyone wants one with all cables and no controller they can have it for a segahub special buy of price £5+ P+P choice blue or black booted and played the only GC disc i have so sold in a it worked for me condition.

Ps
will you swap both for the 360?  ;D

man that was hard to type with my poor eyesight :-[

Turns out the trade was a bust, but thanks to me insuring my package, I got my 360 back.

So it's back on the trading block again :P

All I'm looking for is a retail Wii (with the stuff you normally get with it).  Nothing extra, just a core retail system.

Edit once again.  Now just selling the 360, since the trade went bust and I can't get anyone to bite trade wise.

Would also consider a NDS lite (Black, Colbalt Red or Blue) as long as it's in great shape and cash.  :)
