how good is this "retro" game! Its everything a megaman fan such as myself could have wanted, its completely true to its roots!

That was really smart of Capcom.  I'm going to have to give it a try sometime.  I don't know if I'll buy it though, I'm not very good at MegaMan games :).

yeah i love the series but die at the most stupid points in the game, nothing gets me more frustrated than Megaman other than the Gradius series

The problem is... I've never actually beaten or even given sufficient play time to any of the NES megaman games.

So to me, megaman 9 is just like megaman 3, in that its an old NES megaman game I've never played.

I might as well just play the megaman 3 rom.

I'm with Jem, actually. It's just solely an NES game they probably made a decade ago but never put it out til now or something. This would be worth $10 like ... 15 years ago, but not now man! Maybe $4 ... most of the classics go for that much. Seriously, whoever's behind the planning for these sales needs to get a reality check. But they know that the serious hardcore players will pay that much for it. Thanks to you guys these prices get jacked off.

Back in the day, it was really hard for me to enjoy the MegaMan series. After playing the 3rd one, I quickly realized all of the others were just like it. But when it came out for SNES I found it to be a notch more fun, and MegaMan Legends I enjoyed a hell of a lot more cuz it actually had a story.

I love stories :) Banjo Tooie anyone? That's coming out pretty soon ...

for sure, but you wouldn't see anyone paying that much for the broken games of yesterday :P. I just don't like the fact that they re colored some of the boss sprites to make new ones.

are they ever going to run out of bosses? if all the classic megaman games had 8 bosses there would be a total of 72 bosses.

Yeah I am a hardcore mm nut... but this game is even giving me trouble.

the regular stages are about as hard as a wily stage should be and that terrifies me whenever I think about how hard those are going to be in this game  ;D
