Title: Marvel Vs. Capcom 2: Power Metal Version
Post by: valandora_kid on January 28, 2008, 03:27:05 AM
this is a version i remixed on my own. all the stage music has been changed to faster power metal music. i did this to better suite my musical interests, and decided id share with all of you here at segahub and see what you all think.

btw, this is not a self-boot copy (soz). but you can use utopia the way i do or look for that selfboot thingy in the dc tools place.

the stage music goes as follows:

pirate ship stage: luca turilli- i'm alive (helloween cover)
desert stage: yngwei j. malmsteen- far beyond the sun
inside factory: warmen- salieri strikes back
carnival: saint seiya- pegasus fantasy
bridge: galneryus- struggle for the freedom flag
blue cave: heavenly- virus
clock tower: x japan- x
ice boat: avantasia- no return
abyss 1: endless- shades of night
abyss 2: endless- running to be free
abyss 3: kenziner- into the light
training : steel attack- heading for the lair
here comes a new challenger: edguy: save us now
intro: aquaria- neo
game over: aquaria- neo
credits: ride the sky- a smile from heavens eye
menu: dragonland- contact
winner: unicorn- avylonia
continue: symphony x- damnation game
rankings: freedom call- palace of fantasy
character select: lost horizon- world through my fateless eyes

you can download my version here http://www.megaupload.com/?d=WR7H8LHV

enjoy!

i used this website   http://dhost.info/combomasher/index.php   you can do this as well. its pretty easy, but a little time consuming. so when your not on the nets looking at pr0n you can work at making your own mvc2 soundtrack!!!

I just want some really gangsta-ass rap music on MvC2 and I'd be set.  Some Del, Cube, Wu, Trick Daddy, TI, Dre, Pac....that'd be the shit.

That'd be the shit.  I'd play the fuck out of that thing EVERYWHERE.  I'd take my DC places just to play that version in public, at full volume.  Show these muthafuckas how real gangstas hit bitches with 70+hit combos and shit. :D

Im sorry to be a bother, but I was wondering, I downloaded your version, and Im eager to play it, however I not quite familiar with the process. I used your megaupload link and downloaded and now I have your MDF and MDS files. So my question is, how do I make the game? Thank you in advance.

Sounds interesting...imagine the possiblities, DDR MvC, Rock N Roll MvC, Country MvC(nothing says @ss whooping like achy breaky heart), or even better a Action Movie soundtrack MvC(Eye of the tiger, Best around-from Karate Kid) just the soundtrack modding would be great. Thanks for the work on your versions :)

Nothing like talking about doing something and then never doing it..lol ;D

Maybe I should upload my Guilty Gear X w/custom OST.. It's a mash of Alternative and Hip-Hop w/some songs from the original remaining. Much easier to create since I just raped the echelon version..lol As simple as replacing the WAV files with my own and inject them into the CDI(only each WAV must be the exact same length and not renamed, so some editing is required). I recommend this method for the absolute beginner. There are many Dreamcast titles with CDDA.

If I knew I wouldn't spend so much time on this and then fuck it up, I'd do a trance/techno version of Marvel Vs Capcom and I'd love to do a new version of Crazy Taxi w/ songs from Offspring's new album :)
