bye bye 360
« on: March 07, 2009, 08:14:44 PM »
after sending my 360 in for repairs every two weeks i decided to sell it and buy me a ps3. i like how more reliable the ps3 compare to the xbox 360. i can play gta4 for more than 10 minutes without it crashing. does anyone want my gamertag? i has about 15 arcade games.

Thats funny, I recently sold my ps3 and bought a 360. They're equally boring in my book.

If I could figure out how to mod my lite on drive I'd be all set.

I can send you a link of the full set of software to do it and tons of tuts.  then all you need is a good dldvd burner and a few 20 packs of verbatim dl dvds. that or you can search the wasteland that is craigslist for someone who will do it for you in your neighborhood, theyl charge 50-75 for that though.

Oh cool if you still have it what size hdd do you have and would you be interested in selling it?

My sisters boyfriend was talking about doing it, but he's never flashed a lite on before and he's worried about fucking it up. I don't really want to attempt it myself because it's brand new and I'm jobless and nearly broke.
I'd sell you my 360 or offer to trade you for an older modded one, but i think the shipping would be a huge pain in the ass.

i read that you can get the drive key or something like that from your lite-on. then you buy a benq and flash it with that key.

If your in the states Call Me, shipping really isn't to bad, I was able to get a 360 with the basic accessories into a large USPS flat rate box-which is only $13.00 I think-(I recommend removing and wrapping seperately the hard drive instead of leaving it attached.

Ive currently no use for a live 360 as I got rid of comcast since the price was gonna go up.  I wish I had qwest dsl or verizon cause they are supported by live.  Actualy I wish I didnt live in the fucking sticks where they only have two options for broadband.

Playing Prototype on the keyboard was way too hard. Is the 360 controller the best PC controller on the market?

i got a ps3 simply because it IS a pc. Although it has very little memory, it is quite the powerful machine for the money. I pretty much bought one to have an ubuntu media server that could play playstation games. I made sure to grab the CECHAxx model with the card reader, wireless, and the ability to use pretty much any disc I can put into the thing (except hddvd, but who really cares?). I also got a 1TB SATA drive to put in the thing, even though i'll have to snake a SATA cable into it cause it's a 3.5 inch drive.

Most people would say yes, I personally prefer using ps2 controllers.
