Well,long time i dosen't turn ON my sega-cd.......but today i try play whit them but they dosen't read the CD.....after many tries i open then.....i try clean all optic unit....now sometimes i can play....sometimes not....have anyway to increase the laser ??? Like a POT in Game Cube or something like that ???
Please if someone can help i will aprecciate ! ! !

hmm, never had a sega-cd, but i heard about that psx-trick that is supposed to work with older cd-drives. turn the console upside down and power it on. the laser should recalibrate. i just don't recall if you have to insert a game for that or not. i also never ran into the problem of having a dead drive

Sega CD's are pretty old lol. What kind of games did you play with it?

I used to have problems with my model 1 segacd. It turns out it wasn't the laser, it was the actual board inside. It was covered in dust and dirt, but once I cleaned the entire inside - it worked perfectly.
My favorite Sega CD game is Popful Mail, by far. I just love that game!

I just asked the people at KingFor - they say that there are 2 models for the laser if you can send the picture of the laser on your unit - then they can sell you a spare.
The part you're looking for is either an Optima-6 or a SF101 - both with a 15 pin connector.
They should be priced at around $6 or $7 a piece without the shipping.
