I suspect that everyone involved has stopped caring about the copywrite so here is the PC edition of UT 1.

I got it off the net and used a n00by installer programme to make the download n00b friendly (it should direct itself to program files and create shortcuts.)

The cache etc. was in the file I downloaded and just left it in there out of lazyness, is only a 300 meg download anyway.

AMAZING game. I own a copy of it on CD, but this is really worth the download. Yes, you can play online with pirated versions, and if you look for mods, there are tons that are worth trying. Honestly, the engine has been ripped apart, so you can create your own everything pretty much.
Even without mods, this game is quite amazing!

I think I gave the disc to my old housemate who never returned it but its not hard to find another copy on the tinterwebs.

For the record, I think this game has been made freeware. I believe you can download it from epic or valve or something like that for free.
